FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI image extender?
An image extender adds new image area outside the original frame, generating scenery that continues the photograph. It is the opposite of cropping: instead of cutting in, it builds out.
When would I use this?
Most often when an image is the wrong shape for where it needs to go — a portrait shot that has to become a wide banner, or a square that needs to fill a vertical slot.
How far can it extend?
Modest extensions look seamless. The further you push past the original frame, the more the model is inventing rather than continuing, and the more it shows.
Is this the same as upscaling?
No. Upscaling adds resolution inside the existing frame; extending adds area outside it.
