Funny thing about trust in 2025.
The person most likely to make you buy something is someone you've never heard of, will never follow, and couldn't find again if you tried. No profile. No audience. Just a face that looked enough like yours to make you stop scrolling. Brands figured out that fame kills credibility so they started hiring nobodies on purpose. Not for their reach. For their bathroom lighting.
Meanwhile the creator with 200k followers is doing the same thing except they have to put #ad in the caption like a scarlet letter. Same product. Same script probably. But one looks like a friend's recommendation and the other looks like a transaction. Guess which one converts better. The one you can't trace back to anyone.
So now we've got two versions of the same lie wearing different outfits. One is too visible to be trusted. The other is too invisible to be doubted. And the only person not in on the joke is the one adding to cart at 1am 😄🎯
What do you say? ^^
